I am the Presiding Member of the Riverina School Board and this is my 6th year on the board. Originally from Macedonia, I moved to NZ when I was 9. I have always had a passion for learning and education and have been a long-time student myself, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and Master of Business Management, which has helped me with decision making and contributing ideas at our board meetings. I am self-employed and have worked in the private mental health sector for the past 8 years, with a special interest in ADHD, which I have also found useful in board discussions about children with learning difficulties. I am a proud godmother to two wonderful godchildren who currently attend primary school. I am also an animal lover and self-confessed cat-lady and enjoy volunteering with various animal rescue organisations as much as I can, as well as the Cancer society, as I myself am a survivor. I am a social butterfly and love to meet new people so if you see me around the school, feel free to have a chat.
